Privacy policy

madeinai.eu (“madeinai”, “we”) is a content planning and publishing platform for brands and the agencies that run them, operated from Estonia, in the European Union. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can get it removed. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address and password hash when you create an account.
  • Workspace content: brand profiles, drafts, posts, plans, media and settings you create in the product.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect a social channel (for example a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account or a Bluesky account), we receive and store the account’s public identifiers: its name, ID and avatar. The OAuth access tokens that authorize publishing are stored in our self-hosted publishing engine on our own EU servers.
  • Usage basics: server logs (IP address, timestamps, requested URLs) kept for security and debugging.

How we use platform data

Data received from social platforms (including Meta’s Facebook and Instagram APIs) is used for exactly one purpose: publishing the content you schedule to the accounts you connected, and showing you those accounts’ names and avatars inside the product. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or build profiles from it.

Where it lives

Everything is hosted on our own servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany/Finland). Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access tokens never leave the publishing engine; the rest of the product only holds references to them.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Disconnecting a social channel deletes its access token from the publishing engine immediately. Server logs rotate within 30 days.

Data deletion

To remove your data, any of these work:

  • Disconnect a channel in the app under Channels. This revokes and deletes the stored access token for that social account right away.
  • Remove the app from your Meta account: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, and remove madeinai. We delete the associated tokens and account references on our side within 30 days.
  • Delete everything: email [email protected] from your account address and we will delete your account, workspaces and all associated data within 30 days, then confirm.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; ours is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI).

Cookies

We use only the session cookie that keeps you signed in and a preference for your color theme. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will note the new date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the product or by email.
